Minutes:

The meeting was called to order by Tangie Markle at 8:45am. The June meeting minutes were reviewed and accepted as written.

Finance Report:

There was no shortfall this month because of the bocce ball tournament. Approximately $345 was made after expenses.

Old Business:

1. Membership List update: see attached email from Molly.

2. Fundraisers:

A: Bocce Tournament: $345 was made after expenses. The Chamber agreed to leave the trophy at Umpqua Bank for display. The Chamber wants to make this an annual event and the goal is to have it the last Saturday in June every year.

B: Shirts/ Willow Creek Item Sales: Tangie is looking for a new designer for shirts. Original artist Rebecca Cape is too busy.

C: Membership Drive progress: see attached email

D: Taste of Willow Creek Dinner: Joan Briggs was not present to give an update but she is still working on it.

E: Taste of Willow Creek Raffle: no progress; Tangie is working on it.

F: Bigfoot Days booth: The Chamber is still planning on t-shirts, magnets, membership drive, and selling for Taste of Willow Creek.

3. Information Booth update: Ed Duggan said a thank-you letter should be

written to the Rowley’s for all their work cleaning up the booth.

Due to the problem that occurred between Jack Foster and Jesse Brown, Ed Duggan said the Chamber should file a dispute and keep him so many feet away from the building.

4. Website update: Ed wanted to know more about how we can keep track of site

visits and to what areas. Dan Seguin said we can and he was going to send out the info to everyone on how to do that. Gil suggested having a special meeting specifically for the site so more people can learn how to do things and we can assign more responsibilities out. Wednesday, August 5, was temporarily set as the date for the training pending confirmation from members.
