The Willow Creek Chamber of Commerce Information Booth (Visitor's Center) will be opening for the season on Saturday, May 7th. The booth will be open on the weekends throughout May. Beginning on Memorial weekend, at the end of May, the booth will be open 7 days a week until Labor Day weekend in September.
The booth is located at the corner of Highways 299 and 96 in Willow Creek, next to Gonzalez Restaurant and across the street from Coast Central Credit Union.
Each year during the summer months, we see hundreds of people from all over the world. The booth houses local and regional brochures covering subjects such as local businesses, activities, entertainment and travel information. Willow Creek Chamber of Commerce members can display their business brochures and information in the booth at no cost.
We are excited to again be working with our local youth center, Dream Quest, in order to promote their Step Up Program. This program places youth in positions throughout the community as a way to help learn skills and sample various work environments. These youth, along with our veteran booth workers, make it possible for us to run the Visitor's Center so successfully.
Next time you're in the area, stop in and say hi! We'll be happy to visit with you and answer any questions you may have.
We wish you a fun and safe travel season!
